What I noticed first about this foundation was the finish and how easily it went onto the skin. It was actually very lucky for me because 825 Buff Beige turned out to be my perfect shade. I then tried the testers of the 820 and 825 and went for the 825 because it was more yellow toned whereas the 820 was more on the pink side. I usually go for the lightest shade when trying a new foundation however 810 Classic Ivory was sold out.

I have seen a few people rave about this on Instagram and for that price I couldn’t pass up the chance to try it out. They had this foundation for only approx $13.50 AUD. When I first purchased this foundation it was because I was picking up my Revlon Colourstay from Priceline and saw that Covergirl foundations were on sale. This is one of my most recent foundation purchases so I have less experience wearing it. Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 Foundation SPF 20

Last time I purchased mine for 20% off at Priceline.Ģ. Normally at least one of them will have a decent sale. When I am due to purchase a new one I will normally go to a shopping centre and literally go to Big W, Target, Priceline and Myer and see who has the best deal on and purchase it from them. Here in Australia it retails for $35 AUD (but you can usually get it on sale) and in New Zealand $41.99 NZD. It has a nice glass bottle so doesn’t look cheaply made. Originally this foundation didn’t come with a pump but probably about 5 or 6 years ago now they changed it in Australia and New Zealand so it now comes with a very convenient pump.

The Combination/Oily skin formula definitely has a matte finish but not to the point where you look powdery or cakey.

It matches my skin tone perfectly (which is something I struggle with), has a really full coverage (to the point where I don’t need to use a concealer on blemishes), doesn’t make me look shiny throughout the day and most importantly, lasts all day with no need for touch ups. The reason this has been such a staple foundation for me is because it does everything I want a foundation to do. In fact up until a year ago this was the only foundation I owned. Thought I would start out with Revlon Colorstay because it was the first foundation I ever used and the foundation I have used the longest throughout my life. I thought since I own so many, I may as well do a mini review on each foundation, point out my favorites and ones I don’t prefer and the reasons why they do or don’t work for meġ. I realized I have 9 foundations which is a bit ridiculous for one person but I tend to be a collector and makeup is definitely my weakness. I was looking at my foundation collection after purchasing another of my Revlon Colorstay from Priceline at a recent sale.
